Introduction

Department of Science and Environment Education offers semester-based master level courses in Chemistry Education in Nepal. It offers a four-semester M.Ed. programme in Chemistry Education for science education graduates and one-year B.Ed. in Science and Education for Science graduates. Chemistry Education consists of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, natural product chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, food chemistry, teaching chemistry, modern science teaching, environmental chemistry, research and statistics, nuclear chemistry, polymer chemistry and practicum as specialization subjects in chemistry education. The department has well-equipped laboratories.

Currently, students at this department study a four-semester M.Ed. courses with chemistry education as their specialization subject. This department has also successfully offered a post-graduate diploma in education with a specialization in science education.
